Nike announced yesterday that the company is withdrawing from the board of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce because if its opposition to the Waxman-Merkey Cap & Trade legislation. So Nike supports raising domestic energy prices.
Pretty hypocritical for a company that makes ALL of its consumer products in places like China, Vietnam, and India - places that never agreed to any CO2 controls - to support making energy more expensive in the U.S.
No more Nike stuff in my house.

Rob, I haven't bought anything from these guys in 25 years. Once again, I'm vindicated.
I am wearing my New Balance 479's as we speak.
I wish I could boycott PGE too.
darn it anyways
I have never bought anything from Nike in my short 62 year old life. I stopped buying Converse since they bought them also.
Have not liked Nike b/c of labor policies, (yeah I know everyone does sweatshops too), but if anything I'll give Nike credit balls (or their economic bottom line) to tell the Chamber to stick it. Chambers' looks business backward not forward, thankfully someone is telling them to can their crap.
